Timing

Timing

When conducting three such busy 90-minute sessions timing becomes very important and this will be emphasized throughout the course. Every step of the procedure will have to be timed to within a narrow error margin, otherwise you will find the 90 minutes becoming a lot longer. Once practiced this will become second nature but it will require you to keep control and be aware of the client who wants to make chitchat rather than get started on the therapy.

In some cases you will find that everything has been accomplished in much less time so the course includes some contingency plans in order to make up the shortfall.

Gavin says: When it comes to timing some of us are good at that, others not so good. The same goes for our clients, some need more time than others.
When it comes to weight loss, past life regression, and smoking cessation – these are detailed sessions and I give them more than 90 minutes – nearer 2 hours.  If you do the same, consider charging appropriately.

A note on the text.

Very often the “I” used throughout is Andrew’s. Where Gavin has something to add it is usually made clear as above.
